Post 9 - What's your favourite TV show / film?

 My problem with this question is that i have such a bad memory, so i can watch some serie or movie and said "oh i liked this so much, maybe is my favorite" but days later i forget the good that it was. But i have a long list of series or movies that can be my favorite.

 One serie that can be the favorite of many people is 'Breaking Bad', because is maybe one of the best series ever made. The main character is turning bad so gradual that you don't realized, one of the most iconic is when  Walter said to his wife Skyler: 'I am not in danger, Skyler. I am the danger! A guy opnes his door and gets shot and you think that of me? No. I am the one who knocks!' So at this point we can see that there is no way back.

 I think my favorite genre is policial drama. One year ago i watched the netflix serie 'MindHunter', it is about when in the 80' the FBI started to study the psychological profile of serial killers. There are so many good movies in this genre like 'Seven', 'The Departed', 'Fargo', etc, etc.
 I have favorite director too, he is Martín Scorsese and he have many of excellent movies like 'Taxi Driver', 'The Wolf of Wall Street', and one of my favorite 'Shutter Island', this movie tells us about the power of our minds and how our minds can fool ourselves and create another reality, a reality where we are happy and erase the othrt reality where we did so many mistakes and where we are miserables.

 Recently in this last week we have saw different unusual climatic events, like the tornados in Concepcion, Talcahuano and Los Angeles, we are used to see this things on television in other far away countries, but there is a problem that is a little more difficult to see,  and this is the lack of water in the planet, this affect us now on the price of the fruits and vegetables.
 Many of the lakes in Chile are dried or almost dried, and the goverment did a campain to everyone in the country take a shower for maximum five minutes, i think this campain is a kind of ridiculous because the water that normal people use is about  1% of potable water, while the the rest are use by the big indutries, so this industries are wasted our water and polluting the planet.
 The H2O is a esential element for our lives so is very serious this waste, we have to demand to the politics to do something about this and create conscience, and of course we have to don't vote persons like Donald Trump who dont't care the healthy of our planet.

A career-related website / an expert on your field

 I think one of the website i more visit is youtube because there i find a lot of people who explain things about maths and music, many of them are professionals who have found on youtube a place for make money or simply to share their knowledge, but obviously this site isn't official for a thesis or something like that.

 I like to read books too, when i'm searching for some information especially when is about calculus or physic. I don't have any of this books but i look them on internet, most of the time i find them for free or i can borrow a book on the library of the university or any library of the city.

 So i don't really see websites or blogs to find information that's why i can't mention any, maybe in the future i'll find a good website to read something about a topic more specifically of my carrer. 

     

                                           GENDER ROLES AND STEREOTYPES

 Like most people, i have gone through situations of sexism, even with my parents. For example when i was a kid, i was very weeping  and still i am, it's very easy to me to cry, so i grew up with phrases like ''men's don't cry''. The people think that a men have to be tough so they can't cry and they can't show them as a sensitive person. In the other side the conservative society demands to women's acts totally different like men's, they can't be tough and they can be sensitive.
 Through the 20th and 21th centurys, social movements specifically the fenimist have tried to remove the sexims and change the machism society, and i think that is happening, very slowy but little by little the thing are changing. I hope that one day a women earn the same money as a men do on their works.

 I think my favorite piece of technology is the smartphone because i can find any kind of information on internet, i also can listening music or read something in my free time. on youtube i can find a lot of music artist that i like, here also are many of tutorial videos where i can learn something of anything.
 With a smartphone i can download any kind of app and games with different use and purpose. i can training music aspects or have a good time playing my favorite game, there are so many tools i can use for making me things more simple.
 But what i like the most is the quickness to find information when i have a doubt or a question about any topic.
 The other thing that i like is that i can chat with my family or my friends any time and any place that i want, however i liked when i didn´t have mobile internet because i feel kind of free when i went out of my house and didn´t have to always watch my cellphone, i liked to be disconected for a while.

     Why i choose my career?

 When i was a kid, i didn't have the idea of study something related to music, however, i enjoyed music so much. The real dream that i had till my 10 years was to be a football player but this was a very difficult thing to do and my parents were not so happy with this idea.

 Since i was a kid i always liked the rock music but, it wasn't till in high school music inspired me to learn to play guitar, this was the moment when i started to be really interested in music.

 However my first choose wasn't music or something related, maybe for the prejudices or the pressure of earn money to be a successful person.

 So i started to studing mechanic engineering, this is a very interisting career and entertaining but it is very difficult and require a lot of dedication, i was feeling confused at the time because i really didn't know what to do with my life, so at the end i finally dropped the career.

 After all those years i started to liked the physical, so my current career is perfect to me because have the two worlds, the science and the music.

My autobiography

 My full name is Nelson Eduardo Prado Ligeti, i was born in Santiago, Chile, on September 11th, 1992. I live with my mom and my younger brother Nicolas (19 years old), he is studying psichology. I have two younger sisters too, Sofia (22 years old) who left Chile in March of this year to travel around the world, i will miss her so much. My other sister is Renata (5 years old), she lives with my dad in Puente Alto, Santiago, she is the light of our hearts <3.
 I did my primary school in Quilpue, where i lived for about 6 years, and then i moved to Estacion Central. I did my secondary studies in Liceo Lastarria in providencia. Now i study sound engineering at Universidad de Chile.
 I love to listen music, specifically rock music, i think rock is one of the reason why i study sound engineering, i also love to play futbol. I love cats, i have 3 of them (Niña, Chiki and Chispa) and i have a dog named Tito but i like to call him, Titín.
